Jana Sokolova is a dedicated audio designer with a rich background in music production and sound engineering. Formerly a multidimensional artist encompassing roles as a Multi-Instrumentalist Music Producer, creative photographer, and visual artist in drawing, painting, photography, videography, sound, and installation work, she has transitioned her focus towards crafting immersive audio experiences.

     After completing her Fine Arts education at the University of Ottawa, Jana delved into the technical aspects of live musical performances, DJ arts, and music production, mastering tools like Ableton Live. Her hands-on experience includes volunteering and working with radio stations, where she honed her skills in multi-mic recordings and various Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools and Reaper. Jana further enriched her expertise through a sound internship with the AAA sound design studio, La Hacienda Creative.

     Having grown up in a musical family, Jana's musical journey began early on, participating in Concert band and Jazz band rehearsals with the flute and saxophone, as well as exploring percussion in the BongoBang Boom Drum Band during elementary school. In high school, she expanded her repertoire to include the guitar, piano, and vocals.

   Currently, Jana focuses on crafting electronic music and cinematic sounds. Her passion for the healing energy of electronic music fuels her continuous exploration and curiosity in the field.

     Detail-oriented with a highly sensitive ear, Jana possesses a unique blend of musical intuition and technical knowledge, making her a valuable asset for any audio project.
